Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund guidelines for event bookings.
At Reeti Riwaz Events, we understand that circumstances can change. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for event planning services. We encourage you to read this carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Booking Deposit
A non-refundable booking deposit of 25–30% of the total agreed event cost is required to secure your event date and begin planning. This deposit covers:
- Administrative and planning costs incurred from the booking date
- Blocking of our team's calendar for your event
- Initial vendor research, concept development, and site visits
The booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances once the Service Agreement is signed and the deposit is received.
2. Cancellation by Client
If you wish to cancel your booking, the following refund schedule applies to payments made beyond the initial deposit:

| 90 – 180 days | 60% refund |
| 60 – 89 days | 40% refund |
| 30 – 59 days | 20% refund |
| Less than 30 days | No refund |
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to hello@reetiriwaz.com. The cancellation date is the date on which the written notice is received.
3. Event Rescheduling
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule your event:
- First rescheduling request with at least 90 days' notice: No rescheduling fee
- First rescheduling request with less than 90 days' notice: ₹15,000 rescheduling fee
- Subsequent rescheduling requests: ₹25,000 per request, subject to team and vendor availability
Rescheduling is subject to availability of our team and key vendors. If we cannot accommodate the new date, the cancellation policy above will apply.
4. Cancellation by Reeti Riwaz Events
In the unlikely event that Reeti Riwaz Events must cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, critical team unavailability, etc.), we will:
- Notify you as early as possible in writing
- Offer to reschedule your event at no additional charge
- If rescheduling is not possible, provide a full refund of all payments made to us, excluding amounts already disbursed to third-party vendors on your behalf
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- The initial booking deposit
- Payments made directly to or on behalf of third-party vendors (caterers, decorators, photographers, venues) that have already been disbursed
- Custom stationery, printed materials, or personalised items that have been produced
- Travel and accommodation costs incurred for site visits, venue inspections, or destination events
6. Refund Process & Timeline
Once a valid refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or cheque)
- Any applicable bank charges or payment gateway fees may be deducted
7. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a refund has been incorrectly processed or denied, please contact us in writing within 30 days of receiving our refund decision. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and professionally. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be governed by the arbitration provisions in our Terms of Service.
